Project brief:
Andreu World 70th anniversary design competition. Present a seat and/or table design that reflects and conforms to the values that have guided our journey over these seven decades:
- Sustainability,
- Innovation,
- Quality,
- Social commitment.
By taking a typically flat material and arranging it in an interlocking structure, the design tests how it can bend, hold its shape, and carry load.
The outcome:
A chair that highlights both the flexibility and strength of plywood, while creating a clear woven language that also contributes to the chair’s overall stability.
